A community for the cliche “all who wander aren’t lost”, for the lover of change, the seeker of curiosities + diversity. More importantly: the people who aren’t afraid to do it alone even if you think you are. The courage to just go, begins here.

(Even with a mini you or two)

“Wandermum” the 2025 est. Women owned, diversity [+] blog, photo-journalism page, priding itself on authenticity + realism. With a fresh portrayal of travel ideas, fun places to explore in New England, and more. Target audience is for the average person’s lifestyle VS over-glamorization of most “lifestyle” social media bloggers of today, comprised of actual journalism. Sure, I’ll throw in your catchy 30secs-3min TikTok’s—that’s for my hip people!

A emphasis on supporting + collaboration with other WOBs, small business owners or brands, that align with the message + community we are building. One that seamlessly merges creativity, passion for personal growth through leaving the patterns of daily life. Allow me to redefine your initial thought, of “oh, she’s just another travel blogger.”

A inkling for creating

Not just a pretty space.

There’s an evolving dream to become a virtual safe haven where like minds can connect. Even if said reader does happen to prefer to take that solo trip, or weekend trip with their tribe of minions instead of adults who need a Tylenol or two after an afternoon of hiking: the aim is to create an uplifting atmosphere. Through building a supportive, informative, community to share our experiences: if we should dare, we could connect!

Do’s and Don’ts

Wandermum diaries is here to highlight what you “coulda, shoulda, woulda” benefited from doing before or during travel — or perhaps why “less is sometimes more” for certain destinations and trips! There is also an element of providing honest feedback on experiences, prices and QC of culinary settings, entry fee’s, travel products plus promotions/discounts as we go along. The goal is to grow + provide faithful members of the community with these promotions, once I begin to collaborate with brands.

Continuous Support

The fact is: Wandermum exists due to a passion of 6 things:

  1. Love of photography + capturing a person, place or thing to create an aesthetically pleasing visual.
  2. Having an inexplicable desire to do more + see the world which includes a fascination for what makes up a reality different to mine.
  3. Writing/journalism. (Perhaps, a little bit of an oversharing trait)
  4. Growing up in a mixed-culture and diversity household, which only extended out into my own personal life. I became a functioning adult, created my own diverse family dynamics (eventually).
  5. My daughter! Not only enabling her to share experiences + make memories in ways outside of doing dance classes, or school projects. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that) The opportunity to afford her an exposure to different walks of life early on, so she becomes a considerate human being.
    6. Finally, though these things are the internal muse’s to my inspiration: the only way wandermum diaries can truly thrive to become something valuable, is thanks to YOU + your parallel passions and interests! Continuous tapping in for support in whatever way suits you, will always be appreciated.
